Sadie Engelhardt, a sophomore at Ventura High in California, won the girls invitational mile in a nation-leading 4:41.06 at the Meet of Champions Distance Classic at Azusa Pacific University. Engelhardt produced a 4:39.11 split for 1,600 meters, also the top outdoor performance in the country this season.
