Mateo Bianchi, a senior at Laguna Beach High in California, won the boys invitational 1,600 meters at the Meet of Champions Distance Classic at Arcadia High. Bianchi clocked a personal-best 4:11.82 to prevail against sophomore Lex Young of Newbury Park (4:12.66).
